Coffee Bean Processing Plant
Advanced solutions for the Coffee Processing Industry
SPECTRUM INDUSTRIES is an Internationally recognized manufacturer of Coffee Bean Processing Plants and machinery since the year 1993 and manufacture the entire range of Coffee processing machinery such as Pre Cleaners, De-stoners, Coffee Hullers, Peeler Polishers, Gravity Separators, Graders and the Electronic Colour Sorting Machinery and install Complete Plants for Coffee Processing in various capacities ranging from 1 TPH to 12 tons per hour of output.
SPECTRUM Coffee Plants are a result of many years of efforts of the study, design and manufacturing of these processing lines focused on preserving the physical and aromatic characteristics of the processed coffee beans in order to produce coffee beans of the highest quality in terms of minimum defects, uniform grades of size and shape as well as colour.
Our Coffee Hullers are suitable for hulling dry Cherry Coffee as well as Parchment Coffee beans. These Hullers are of the Cross-beater type and thus these machines provide cold hulling of the coffee beans.
Our Coffee HullerPeeler Polishers are suitable for hulling both Parchment(washed) Coffee beans as well dry Cherry(sundried) Coffee. These Hullers have a fluted core rotating inside a Drum having Cast Iron Liners, in order to hull and polish the Coffee. They are incorporated with a perforated screen at the bottom, provided with an adjustable Aspiration system having an Air Fan for aspiration of the husk.
The Complete solutions for Coffee processing that we provide comprise of intake, Cleaning, Drying, storage of raw Coffee, Hulling, Polishing, Grading by size and shape, Gravity Separation, Colour Sorting and Bagging off in bags of 50-100 kgs/Jumbo bags or bulk Container loading systems.
Grain Processing Plant
Complete Solutions for the Grain Processing Industry
Primary processing of grain involves several different processes, designed to clean, sort and remove the inedible fractions from the grains. Primary processing of grains includes winnowing, cleaning, drying, grading, hulling/polishing, sorting and packing.
Prior to storage or further processing, cereal grains need to be dried to 10-15% moisture before storage in bulk until required for further processing. Before further processing, grains are cleaned and graded according to size.
Several grains have husk or shell that needs to be removed by a decorticator. A range of specialised machines are available from Spectrum Industries for this task.
We provide Complete Grain Processing solutions from Intake, Cleaning, Storage, Grading, Polishing and Color Sorting as well as Weighing & bagging for processing a wide variety of grains and cereals such as Corn, Wheat, Rice, Millet, Pulses, Lentils etc.
The machinery range includes Pre-Cleaners, De-stoners, Decorticators, Gravity Separators, Graders and Electronic Colour Sorting Machinery as well as Weighing & bagging equipment including the conveying equipment and aspiration systems of various capacities ranging from 1 TPH to 20 tons per hour of output.
Seed Processing Plant
Specialised Equipment for the Seed Processing Industry
Seeds coming from the field after harvest usually contain dockage or undesirable materials which must be removed during processing in on order to obtain clean seed suitable for planting.
The dust, chaff and straw are separated from the seeds by Winnowing so that the lighter chaff and straw get blown out while the heavier seeds are separated. The seeds are then sent to a Vibratory screener where the oversized and undersize impurities are separated from the good product. They are then transferred to the Destoning equipment that removes stones and other heavy impurities.
The seeds are then passed through graders/classifier screen decks in order to remove the broken seed and grade them as per size and then conveyed to Gravity Seperators which sort the lights, middlings and heavies. The middlings, are returned to the gravity Seperator for recirculation.
The seeds are then graded as per size and sorted by RGB Full Colour Camera Sorters, in order to remove the defective seeds from where they are sent to the packing machines.
SPECTRUM INDUSTRIES provides Seed enterprises complete seed processing solutions and develops and manufactures specialized equipment for Cleaning, Grading, Sorting, polishing and Treating a variety of seeds, grains and cereals such as Wheat, Rice, Corn, Millet, Pulses, Lentils, Pumpkin seeds, Watermelon seeds, Sesame seeds, Niger seeds etc.
The machinery range includes Intake, Pre-Cleaners, De-stoners, Gravity Separators, Graders, Polishers, seed Treaters and Electronic Colour Sorting Machinery as well as Weighing & bagging equipment including the necessary conveying equipment and aspiration systems of various capacities ranging from 1 TPH to 20 tons per hour of output.
Nut Processing Plant
Customised solutions for the Nut Processing Industry
Nuts such as Almonds and Peanuts etc are harvested from orchards and transported to processing facilities, where they are cleaned, hulled/shelled and then graded and sorted followed by packing in carton boxes or pouches.
The nuts start their process in the receiving pit, from where they are gently transferred by means of Conveyors to Vibratory screens that will begin the process of removing dirt, sticks, and leaves from the nuts.
After the screens do the initial separation, the nuts are transferred to the Destoning equipment that removes stones and other heavy impurities.
The nuts are then dried or moistened as the case may be and then sent into storage. From storage, the nuts are transferred by a conveyor to a hulling cylinder or Decorticator. After the shells have been cracked and removed, the nuts are once more sent through screens to separate the aspirated shells from the meat. The nuts that are still enclosed in their shells are sent back to repeat the process.
The shelled nuts are passed through graders/classifier screen decks in order to remove the splits and broken pieces and then conveyed to Gravity Seperators which sort the meats by lights, middlings, good and heavies. Lights, middlings, and heavies, which still contain hulls and shells, are returned to various points in the process.
After the nuts are sent through this process they are graded and sorted by Belt type RGB Full Colour Sorters, in order to remove the dark defects as well as the skin out material with chips and scratches from where they are sent to the packing machines or to roasting and blanching/salting lines for further processing in order to change the final product.
